Mini Makers – Little Coders: Robot Adventures at Science Mill

Early learners can explore the basics of coding through play during Mini Makers – Little Coders: Robot Adventures at the Science Mill. Designed for preschoolers and their caregivers, this 45-minute session blends a themed story time with a hands-on activity that introduces robots, sequences, and simple algorithms in a fun, age-appropriate way. Participants will meet Botley the Robot and use movement, books, and arrow cards to create step-by-step directions, then test their code to see if Botley can follow the path home.

The program takes place on Wednesday, January 21, 2026, from 10:30 am to 11:15 am. For families attending Mini Makers, the museum will open early at 9:30 am to allow extra time for exploration before the workshop begins.
