Sophienburg Old Time 4th of July Parade in Downtown New Braunfels

Celebrate Independence Day at the Sophienburg Old Time 4th of July Parade in Downtown New Braunfels on Saturday, July 4, beginning at 9:15 am. This year’s parade is especially meaningful as the community celebrates America’s 250th birthday with a patriotic morning of tradition and hometown spirit.

Spectators are encouraged to wear their favorite red, white, and blue and line the streets of downtown to enjoy decorated floats, community groups, and festive displays honoring the nation’s history. Following the parade, attendees can enjoy the annual program celebrating Independence Day.

Community members interested in participating in the parade can register in advance and review participation guidelines through the Sophienburg Museum and Archives.

The parade takes place in Downtown New Braunfels and is free to attend.
