40th Annual Gruene Music & Wine Fest at The Grapevine

The 40th Annual Gruene Music & Wine Fest kicks off Thursday, October 8, at The Grapevine in Gruene. Admission is free, with the kickoff party taking place from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. in The Grapevine Garden. Guests can enjoy Texas wine and craft beer tastings while listening to live music from Kreitz Band.
The festival continues Saturday, October 10, from noon to 6 p.m. with tastings and live music, featuring more than 30 Texas wines and brews. On Sunday, October 11, remaining tasting tickets can be used at The Grapevine’s outdoor bar from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., with live music from 1 to 4 p.m. Admission to the Sunday All-Star Playlist at Gruene Hall is sold separately.
Tasting packages include a commemorative wine glass and 10 tasting tickets, which can be redeemed for wine or beer samples during the festival. Packages and glasses will also be available onsite by card payment. Guests must be 21 or older to redeem tasting tickets. Proceeds from tasting tickets and wine and beer sales benefit United Way of Comal and Guadalupe Counties.
The Grapevine is located at 1612 Hunter Rd. in New Braunfels. Presale tasting tickets are available through 11:59 p.m. Monday, October 5.
