9th Annual BBQ Showdown at Traders Village

The smoke and sizzle return to San Antonio for the 9th Annual BBQ Showdown at Traders Village, happening Friday, November 21 through Saturday, November 22, 2025. This premier competition, sanctioned by the Champions BBQ Alliance, will showcase some of the best pitmasters in the region as they compete for bragging rights and big prizes.

Sanctioned meats include chicken, ribs, pork, and brisket, along with jackpot categories like Cook’s Choice. The competition boasts a $25,000 guaranteed payout with top 10 winners recognized in every category. Kids Que Nation will also be featured, giving young grill masters the chance to show off their BBQ skills.

The event will be held on spacious 40×40 concrete sites, with early check-in available for teams.
