9th Annual Dos Rios Watershed Cleanup at Prince Solms Park

The City of New Braunfels invites volunteers to take part in the 9th Annual Dos Rios Watershed Cleanup on Saturday, October 11, 2025, starting at 9 am at Prince Solms Park. This city-wide litter cleanup helps protect local creeks and rivers while raising awareness about the importance of clean, healthy water resources.

Participants will check in with city staff at Prince Solms Park to receive a cleanup location and supplies, including mesh bags, trash grabbers, and gloves. Volunteers will also receive a commemorative event T-shirt featuring artwork by COPILOT CREATIVE CO. A light breakfast will be provided by sponsors 2Tarts Bakery, Wicked Voodoo Espresso, and Las Palapas Mexican Restaurant, along with fruit, granola bars, and bottled water.

It is recommended to wear closed-toe shoes, long pants, long sleeves, and a hat to protect from insects, sharp objects, and the sun. Bug spray and sunscreen are also suggested. Some cleanup areas may have uneven terrain or tall vegetation.
