An Evening of Jerry Jeff Walker Music featuring Django Walker & The Jerry Jeff Walker Band at Gruene Hall

Gruene Hall hosts a heartfelt tribute to Texas music legend Jerry Jeff Walker with a special evening led by his son, Django Walker, alongside the Jerry Jeff Walker Band—the same musicians who backed Jerry Jeff for more than 20 years. This celebratory night honors the songs and legacy of the iconic singer-songwriter, inviting fans to enjoy the music that shaped generations of Texas country and Americana.

Raised in the heart of Austin’s vibrant music scene, Django Walker grew up surrounded by greats like Willie Nelson, Townes Van Zandt, and Guy Clark. Over the years, he has written songs for Pat Green (“Texas on My Mind”), Jimmy Buffett (“Something ’Bout a Boat”), and others, while establishing himself as a respected artist in his own right. His spirited connection to his father’s music and his dedication to carrying the torch of Texas songwriting make this tribute an especially meaningful experience.

Doors open at 8 pm, followed by the opener at 9 pm and the main performance with Django Walker & The Jerry Jeff Walker Band at 10 pm. Limited seating will be available on a first-come, first-served basis.

The concert will take place on Saturday, December 6, 2025, at Gruene Hall, 1281 Gruene Rd, New Braunfels, TX 78130. General admission is $37.50 plus an $8.00 service fee. Tickets are available through the event website.
