Baby Rhyme Time at New Braunfels Public Library
An event every week that begins at 9:30 am on Monday, repeating until June 29, 2026
Baby Rhyme Time offers a gentle, engaging program designed especially for babies ages 12 to 18 months and their caregivers. This early literacy experience features stories, songs, clapping, and music, followed by a short playtime that encourages social interaction and sensory exploration. Siblings are welcome to attend, making it a relaxed and family-friendly activity.
The program takes place on Mondays from 9:30 am to 10:00 am and runs on February 2, 9, 16, and 23; March 9, 16, 23, and 30; April 6, 13, 20, and 27; May 4, 11, and 18; and June 1, 8, 15, 22, and 29, 2026. Sessions are held in the Main Library Meeting Room at the New Braunfels Public Library (Main Branch).
This program is intended for early childhood audiences ages 0 to 4, with activities tailored specifically to babies within the recommended age range. Families are asked to attend only if children are feeling well and free of symptoms such as fever, rash, vomiting, persistent cough, or other signs of illness, to help ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone.
Baby Rhyme Time is supported by the Friends of the Library and focuses on creating a positive, welcoming environment where caregivers are encouraged to participate alongside their children and help model library manners during the program.
