Bat Flight & Cave Tour at Bracken Cave

Experience one of the most extraordinary natural events in Texas during the Bat Flight & Cave Tour at Bracken Cave on Saturday, August 30, 2025, at 4:00 pm. Each summer, the world’s largest bat colony—over 20 million Mexican free-tailed bats—takes to the skies in a breathtaking display as they form a swirling cloud across the Hill Country evening sky.
This unforgettable event is offered for a limited time and is available in combination with a Discovery Tour or Twisted Trails adventure. Tickets are released 10 days prior to each date to ensure confirmed flight times, and availability is limited.
Dates for the 2025 season include May 15, 25, 26; June 1, 2; July 4, 5, 6; August 30, 31; and September 1, 2.
