Bilingual Mermaid Storytime at Fischer Park

Families are invited to Fischer Park for a special Bilingual Storytime with Sirena del Rio, the Indigenous Mermaid of the San Marcos River. Hosted in partnership with the New Braunfels Public Library and Parks and Recreation, this unique storytelling experience introduces young children to local river life and environmental awareness through engaging tales and cultural perspective. After storytime, kids can cool off and play at the Splash Pad.

The event will take place from 10:30 am to 11:30 am on Friday, August 8, 2025, at Fischer Park, located at 1935 Hilltop Summit Road, New Braunfels, Texas 78130. This program is designed for children ages 0–4. For more information, visit www.nbtexas.org/library or contact the library directly.
