Blue Water Highway at The Redbird Listening Room

An evening of Americana, folk rock, and storytelling comes to The Redbird Listening Room on May 23 at 7:30 pm with a performance by Blue Water Highway. The Austin-based band is known for soulful harmonies, thoughtful songwriting, and dynamic live performances shaped by years of national and international touring.

Formed by childhood friends Zack Kibodeaux and Greg Essington, the group blends modern Americana with traditional Southern influences, drawing comparisons to artists such as The Eagles, Bruce Springsteen, and Counting Crows. Their music ranges from blues-inspired rock to folk ballads and Southern Gothic storytelling, showcased in albums including Paper Airplanes and Year of the Dragon.

Doors open 30 minutes before the show. Guests may bring their own beverages for a $10 group fee, while Ramblers, sodas, coffee, and Redbird Charcuterie Plates from Huisache Grill will also be available for purchase. Tickets are $50.
