Central Texas Foster Care Simulation at Gruene United Methodist Church

Gain a deeper understanding of the foster care system during the Central Texas Foster Care Simulation on Wednesday, July 22, from 9 am to 1 pm at Gruene United Methodist Church.

This free, interactive experience allows participants to step into the roles of children in foster care, biological parents, foster parents, CASA volunteers, or caseworkers to better understand the challenges families face over the course of a simulated month in foster care. Developed by Big Country CASA and presented locally by CASA of Central Texas, Gruene United Methodist Church, and SJRC Texas I Belong, the event includes a light breakfast and lunch for registered attendees.

The event takes place at Gruene United Methodist Church, 2629 E. Common St., New Braunfels, TX 78130.

Admission is free, but registration is required. Space is limited, and registration closes July 8.
