Cindy Kalmenson at The Redbird Listening Room

Award-winning singer-songwriter Cindy Kalmenson performs live at The Redbird Listening Room on May 29 at 7:30 pm for an evening of stories and songs in an intimate listening room setting.

Kalmenson is the winner of the 2025 Kerrville New Folk Contest and the 2023 Rocky Mountain Folks Songwriting Contest. Known for her soulful performances and engaging stage presence, she has toured extensively as both a solo artist and festival performer. Her songwriting and style have drawn comparisons to artists such as Sheryl Crow, Kathleen Edwards, and Lucinda Williams. She also founded the long-running Girls With Guitars showcase in Nashville, which highlighted emerging singer-songwriters who later signed major label and publishing deals.

Doors open 30 minutes before the show. Guests may bring their own beverages for a $10 group fee, while Ramblers, sodas, coffee, and Redbird Charcuterie Plates from Huisache Grill will also be available for purchase. Tickets are $20.
