Device Advice at New Braunfels Public Library
An event every week that begins at 1:00 pm on Wednesday, repeating until June 10, 2026

Device Advice provides one-on-one help for adults and seniors who want to feel more confident using their smartphones, tablets, laptops, and other digital devices. These drop-in sessions are led by the library’s Digital Services Team and focus on building everyday technology skills to support digital literacy in the community.
Topics may include using OverDrive/Libby and SimplyE for free eBooks and audiobooks, accessing library resources such as online databases, Hoopla, and Pronunciator, email and internet basics, social media navigation, and general help with personal devices like eReaders, tablets, and smartphones. Basic computer troubleshooting and other technology-related questions are also welcome, and participants are encouraged to bring any necessary usernames and passwords.
Sessions take place on Wednesdays from February 25 through June 10, 2026, from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm. Device Advice is held in the main library meeting room at the New Braunfels Public Library main branch in New Braunfels, Texas. This program is free to attend and intended for adults ages 18 and older, including seniors.
