Die Froehliche Tanzgruppe at Krause’s Cafe
October 15 @ 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm
Krause’s Cafe presents Die Froehliche Tanzgruppe on Thursday, October 15, from 6 to 9 pm. The dance group performs traditional German and Bavarian polka, waltz, and Schuhplattler routines.
Originally formed in 1977 by New Braunfels local Helgard Suhr-Hollis to perform at Wurstfest, Die Froehliche Tanzgruppe joined with the local German children’s dance group Kinder Tänzer of New Braunfels in 2025. The collaboration brings traditional German dance to a new generation while showcasing the energy and skill of the young adult dancers.
