Dos Rios 5K Splash and Dash at Cypress Bend Park

The 15th Annual Dos Rios Splash & Dash 5K offers a race day unlike any other, blending scenic running routes with river tubing and outdoor fun. Set against the backdrop of New Braunfels’ picturesque parks and rivers, this unique event invites participants to enjoy a thrilling course and a truly memorable finish.

Runners can choose between two race formats: the traditional 5K, which follows a scenic road route, or the Chute Challenge 5K, where participants tube through the iconic river chute mid-race before continuing to the finish line. Both options take racers along two rivers and through three of the city’s beautiful parks.

The race begins at 7:30 am on Saturday, June 21, 2025. All participants receive a free day pass to the tube chute, and the post-race atmosphere promises a festive celebration of fitness and fun in one of Texas’ most vibrant outdoor spaces.
