Downtown Spooktacular at Main Plaza

Downtown New Braunfels transforms into a family-friendly Halloween wonderland for Downtown Spooktacular, presented by Plunger Pros Plumbing & Drain, on Thursday, October 30, 2025, from 5 pm to 7 pm. This festive event offers safe trick-or-treating for kids, with downtown businesses, City departments, and community partners—including the New Braunfels Police and Fire Departments and the Solid Waste & Recycling Division—handing out treats throughout the area.

Families looking for allergen-safe options can follow the teal balloons to find non-candy treats. The event also features free parking and a convenient shuttle service from City Hall (550 Landa Street), running from 4:30 pm to 7:30 pm. Road closures around Main Plaza will begin at 4 pm and reopen around 8 pm, so attendees are encouraged to plan accordingly.
