Fiction Book Group at New Braunfels Public Library

Readers can gather for an afternoon of conversation and literary discussion during the Fiction Book Group at the New Braunfels Public Library. The group explores a wide variety of books, themes, and authors throughout the year while offering a welcoming space for lively discussion and shared recommendations.
The June selection is The Museum of Forgotten Memories by Anstey Harris, a novel that follows Cate Morris as she and her son relocate to her late husband’s ancestral Victorian museum in the seaside town of Crouch-on-Sea. As Cate works to revive the unusual museum and confront difficult truths about her past, the story explores grief, family, healing, and second chances.
Participants are welcome to join the discussion even if they have not finished or read the month’s selected book. The group encourages readers to discover new authors, revisit old favorites, and connect with fellow book lovers in a relaxed setting.
The Fiction Book Group will meet on Wednesday, June 10, 2026, from 2 pm to 3 pm in the Main Library Meeting Room at the New Braunfels Public Library Main Branch, located at 700 E Common St, New Braunfels, TX 78130. The event is open to adults and seniors ages 18 and older.
No pre-registration is required. For more information, contact Leann Weaver at lweaver@newbraunfels.gov.
