Gary P. Nunn at Gruene Hall

Gary P. Nunn brings his legendary Texas sound to Gruene Hall on December 26, continuing a career that helped shape the progressive country movement that emerged from Austin in the 1970s. Long celebrated as an independent music pioneer, Nunn has spent decades sharing songs rooted in Texas pride and dance hall tradition, earning a reputation as a trailblazer admired by generations of Red Dirt and Texas artists. His catalog includes “Last Thing I Needed, First Thing This Morning,” recorded by Willie Nelson in 1982 and later re-recorded by Chris Stapleton in 2017.

Doors open at 7 pm, with an opener to be announced at 8 pm, followed by Gary P. Nunn at 9 pm. This all-ages concert takes place at Gruene Hall, 1281 Gruene Rd, New Braunfels, TX 78130.
