Girl Scout Day 2025 at the Science Mill

The Science Mill invites Girl Scouts and their families for a day of discovery and hands-on STEM learning during Girl Scout Day 2025. Taking place on Saturday, September 20, 2025, from 10 am to 4 pm, this special event features self-guided museum activities and badge-earning workshops designed for all scouting levels.
Thanks to the Frank K. Webb Charitable Trust, all Girl Scouts and Troop Leaders will receive free admission. General admission is $10.50 for youth and $13 for adults. Workshops are an additional $5 each.
Workshops include:
- Daisy Workshop (10:30–11:00 am): How Robots Move
- Brownie Workshop (11:30 am–12:15 pm): Programming Robots
- Junior Workshop (12:45–1:30 pm): Programming Robots
- Cadettes Workshop (2:00–3:00 pm): Programming Robots
All-day badge activities include:
- Daisies: Model Car Design – explore force and friction through ramps and car experiments.
- Brownies: Naturalist – Bugs – learn about insect habitats and build bug-themed crafts.
- Juniors: Balloon Car Design – apply kinetic and potential energy principles to create and race balloon-powered vehicles.
- Cadettes: Special Agent – investigate science and sleuthing skills through creative challenges.
