Harfmann Duo at Krause’s Cafe

Walt Harfmann brings decades of musical experience and rich cultural heritage to the stage with the Harfmann Duo. Originally from the heavily German south side of St. Louis, Harfmann has performed alongside Grammy-winning legends such as Frank Yankovic and Walter Ostanek, as well as numerous other Polka icons across the United States.

His performances span an impressive range of musical traditions, including German, Austrian, Czech, Slovenian, Croatian, and Swiss styles. Audiences can expect to enjoy polkas, waltzes, kolos, boarischers, and other European classics. With extensive travel throughout Europe, Harfmann has added many beloved historical pieces to his repertoire, delivering an authentic and spirited show that celebrates the vibrancy of Central European folk music.
