Harfmann Duo at Krause’s Café

The Harfmann Duo brings a lively mix of European folk favorites to Krause’s Café on December 21 from 11 am to 2 pm. Led by Walt Harfmann, whose roots trace back to the German-influenced south side of St. Louis, the performance features a wide range of traditional styles including German, Austrian, Czech, Slovenian, Croatian, Swiss, and more. Guests can expect polkas, waltzes, kolos, and boarischers, along with historic European songs Harfmann has collected through extensive travel abroad.

Walt Harfmann has shared the stage with Grammy-winning polka legends including “America’s Polka King” Frank Yankovic and “Canada’s Polka King” Walter Ostanek, bringing decades of experience and authentic tradition to every performance.
