Harfmann Duo at Krause’s Cafe

Enjoy a lively Sunday afternoon of traditional European music as the Harfmann Duo performs at Krause’s Cafe on July 19 from 11 am to 2 pm. Led by Walt Harfmann, the duo presents an entertaining blend of polkas, waltzes, and folk music inspired by the rich musical traditions of Germany, Austria, the Czech Republic, Slovenia, Croatia, Switzerland, and beyond.

A native of St. Louis, Harfmann has shared the stage with Grammy Award winners Frank Yankovic, “America’s Polka King,” and Walter Ostanek, “Canada’s Polka King.” His extensive travels throughout Europe have helped shape a repertoire featuring authentic historic songs, lively dance tunes, and vocals performed in multiple European styles.
