Hobby Haus – D&D Basics at New Braunfels Public Library

Adults interested in tabletop gaming can explore the world of Dungeons & Dragons during Hobby Haus – D&D Basics at the New Braunfels Public Library. Created as a welcoming “Try Before You Buy” experience, this beginner-friendly program introduces participants to tabletop roleplaying games, board games, and video games with guidance from library staff and opportunities to test featured titles before they become available for checkout in the library catalog.

This session will feature a Dungeons & Dragons One-Shot Gameplay Demo, offering attendees a chance to experience collaborative storytelling and gameplay through a beginner-friendly adventure. Participants can try out the library’s Hobby Haus D&D checkout kits while learning the basics of the game in a relaxed and supportive environment. No previous experience is required.

Hobby Haus – D&D Basics will take place on Wednesday, June 10, 2026, from 6 pm to 7:30 pm at the New Braunfels Public Library Main Branch, located at 700 E Common St, New Braunfels, TX 78130. The program is open to adults ages 18 and older.

Registration is required, and all participants must have an active library card to attend the program series. There are 17 seats available.
