Kelley Mickwee at The Redbird Listening Room

Award-winning singer-songwriter Kelley Mickwee brings an afternoon of stories and songs to The Redbird Listening Room on July 19 at 4 pm. Known for her soulful vocals, thoughtful songwriting, and deep roots in the Texas Americana scene, Mickwee has built a career that spans acclaimed bands, solo recordings, radio hosting, and collaborations with some of the region’s most respected artists.

Following the release of her solo debut, You Used to Live Here, Mickwee continued to make her mark through performances with The Trishas, her work as a Shiny Soul Sister with Shinyribs, and guest appearances on recordings by artists including Ray Wylie Hubbard, Charley Crockett, Reckless Kelly, and Owen Temple. Her latest album, Everything Beautiful, showcases her signature blend of heartfelt storytelling, rich melodies, and emotional depth.

Guests can enjoy an intimate listening room experience as Mickwee shares songs from throughout her career along with stories behind the music. The venue’s unique atmosphere allows audiences to connect closely with the artist and the songwriting process.

The event will take place at The Redbird Listening Room, located at 1260 Elliot Knox Boulevard, New Braunfels, TX 78130. Doors open 30 minutes before showtime.

Tickets are $30 per person. Guests may bring their own beverages for a $10 fee per group. Ramblers, soft drinks, coffee, and Redbird Charcuterie Plates from Huisache Grill will also be available for purchase.
