Marcus King Band: Waltz Across Texas at Gruene Hall

Don’t miss an electrifying night of live music as Marcus King Band brings their Waltz Across Texas tour to Gruene Hall on May 7.

Doors open at 7 pm, with opener Chaparelle taking the stage at 8 pm. The Marcus King Band will follow with their headlining performance at 9 pm.

Hailing from Greenville, South Carolina, Marcus King has built a reputation for his soulful voice, masterful guitar work, and genre-blending sound that fuses southern rock, blues, and country. After a successful run with the Marcus King Band, he launched a solo career with the GRAMMY-nominated El Dorado (2020), followed by Young Blood (2022) and Mood Swings (2024).

Now reuniting with his longtime band, King returns with his upcoming album Darling Blue, recorded at the legendary Capricorn Studios and produced by GRAMMY-winner Eddie Spear. The album features collaborations with artists like Noah Cyrus, Billy Strings, and Kaitlin Butts, and reflects his deep Southern roots and musical evolution.
