Masskrugstemmen – Bier Stein Holding Contest at Krause’s Café

Test your strength and endurance in a true Bavarian tradition during the 2025 season of Masskrugstemmen at Krause’s Café. This lively beer stein-holding competition challenges participants to hold a full liter of German beer straight out in front of them for as long as possible without spilling or bending their arm. The last one standing wins!

The event will be held on May 31, 2025, with registration beginning at 7:00 pm in the Biergarten. The competition starts at 8:00 pm. Entry is $20 per participant, and winners of the men’s and women’s divisions will get to keep their stein. The top three finishers in each round will return for the finals on August 2, where champions will win a weekend in New York City (September 19–21), including airfare, hotel accommodations, and VIP treatment.
