Max Stalling at Gruene Hall

Texas-based singer and songwriter Max Stalling brings his dynamic live show to Gruene Hall on Friday, October 3, 2025. Known for his smart, charming performances that balance rich storytelling with danceable rhythms, Stalling has carved out a unique path in the Texas music scene. Originally from the Crystal City/Carrizo Springs area, he left a career as a research scientist for Frito Lay to pursue music full time and has since released six studio albums, three live projects, and a full-length DVD.

Often joined on stage by his wife, Heather, an accomplished fiddle player and songwriter, Stalling delivers a show that feels equally at home in intimate acoustic settings or on big stages. His modern yet vintage-inspired style, strong lyrics, and compelling voice have earned him a loyal following. His song “Scars and Souvenirs” was even featured as an episode title on Grey’s Anatomy, and he has appeared on the CW Network’s Troubadour, TX series.
