ModelFiesta 2026 at the New Braunfels Civic/Convention Center

ModelFiesta 2026 brings one of the region’s most respected scale modeling events to New Braunfels on January 3, 2026. As the longest-running annual modeling event in IPMS Region 6, ModelFiesta has grown into a large-scale showcase featuring more than 120 vendor tables and over 500 contest entries each year. The event draws an international crowd, including modelers from across Latin America, and is widely recognized for its diversity, quality, and welcoming atmosphere. Guests can explore hundreds of contest-quality models spanning aircraft, automotive builds, military vehicles, ships, figures, GunPla, and Young Modelers categories.

Doors open to the public from 9 am to 5 pm, with model registration taking place from 9 am to 11:30 am. An awards ceremony is scheduled for 4 pm, and raffle drawings are held hourly throughout the day, leading up to one major prize. Vendor setup begins early, running from 6 am to 9 am. General admission is $5 per person and is waived for those entering the model contest. Contest entry is a flat fee per person with a five-model limit, priced at $10 for adults ages 18 and over, $5 for juniors ages 13 to 17, and $2 for pre-teens ages 12 and under. There is no fee or limit for display-only models, though participants planning to bring 10 or more models are asked to notify organizers in advance to allow for proper space and arrangements.
