New and expecting mothers can find support, connection, and encouragement through the Mothers & Babies: A Perinatal Support Series at the New Braunfels Public Library Westside Branch. This six-week program is designed for expectant, adoptive, and postpartum mothers who are navigating the transition into life with a new baby while building healthy coping skills and supportive relationships.
The series focuses on meaningful activities, developing healthier thought patterns, and strengthening social connections. Participants will have the opportunity to connect with other mothers in a welcoming and supportive environment while learning strategies that may help reduce the risk of postpartum depression.
The Mothers & Babies: A Perinatal Support Series will meet on Monday mornings from 9:30 am to 11 am, June 8 through July 13, at the New Braunfels Public Library Westside Branch in New Braunfels. Participants are encouraged to attend the full six-week series to gain the greatest benefit from the shared experience.
