Music & Movement at New Braunfels Public Library
An event every week that begins at 9:30 am on Tuesday, repeating until October 13, 2026
Little ones can sing, dance, and explore rhythm during Music & Movement at the New Braunfels Public Library. Designed for young children, this energetic program introduces participants to a variety of musical styles including jazz, rock, classical music, children’s favorites, and more through interactive activities and movement.
Children will have opportunities to play with small percussion instruments, scarves, balls, puppets, and other hands-on materials while developing early music and movement skills in a fun and welcoming environment. The program encourages children to participate at their own developmental level while building confidence, coordination, and creativity through music and play.
Parents and caregivers are encouraged to participate alongside their children by joining in songs, fingerplays, and movement activities. Families are also asked to help create a positive storytime environment by arriving on time, remaining attentive during the program, and encouraging good library manners throughout the session.
Music & Movement takes place every Tuesday from 9:30 am to 10 am in the Main Library Meeting Room at the New Braunfels Public Library Main Branch, located at 700 E Common St, New Braunfels, TX 78130. The program is recommended for children ages 0 to 4.
Registration is required. Registration opens at 9:30 am on Tuesday, June 16, 2026.
