Music & Movement at Westside Library

Young children can explore rhythm, movement, and musical play during Music & Movement at the Westside Library. This interactive program introduces children to a variety of music styles including jazz, rock, classical music, children’s favorites, and more through hands-on activities designed to encourage creativity and early learning.

The high-energy program includes the use of percussion instruments, scarves, balls, puppets, and other engaging materials that help children build a strong musical foundation while developing coordination and social skills. Children are encouraged to participate at their own comfort and developmental level in a fun and welcoming environment filled with music and movement.

Parents and caregivers are encouraged to participate alongside their children by joining in songs, fingerplays, and activities throughout the session. Families are also asked to help create a positive storytime experience by arriving on time, remaining attentive during the program, and encouraging good library manners.

Music & Movement will take place on Tuesday, June 30, 2026, from 10:30 am to 11 am in the Meeting Room at Westside Library, located at 2910 S IH 35 Frontage Rd, New Braunfels, TX 78130. The program is recommended for children ages 0 to 4.

Registration is required. Registration opens at 10:30 am on Tuesday, June 16, 2026.
