National Night Out 2025 at New Braunfels Public Library

National Night Out returns on Tuesday, October 7, 2025, bringing neighbors and local first responders together for an evening of connection, safety, and community fun. This nationwide event promotes strong police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie to help create safer, more connected communities.

There are two ways to participate this year. Celebrate at the large-scale community event at the Westside Library Campus Parking Lot, 2910 IH35 Frontage Rd, from 4 pm to 8 pm. Guests can enjoy police K-9 and drone demonstrations, see police and fire vehicles including the SWAT Bearcat, patrol cars, and fire trucks, take part in storytime with first responders, make crafts, play yard games, visit the Library Express, and more.

Neighborhoods can also host their own block parties by registering in advance. Gather neighbors, plan potlucks, games, and activities, and welcome police officers, firefighters, EMS, and City Councilmembers to strengthen local connections. Registration for block parties closes at noon on October 6, 2025.
