NBHS Class of 2026 Senior Float at Texas Tubes

A longtime New Braunfels graduation tradition returns on May 22 at 10 am with the NBHS Class of 2026 Senior Float. Graduating seniors gather at Texas Tubes between 10 am and 10:20 am dressed in their graduation gowns and ready to float the river together as a final senior celebration. During the event, Mikie Farias and Caressa Captures will be photographing participants at the tube chute, helping preserve memories from the special occasion.

The annual tradition, started years ago by Mikie, has become a memorable sendoff for New Braunfels High School seniors as they celebrate graduation with classmates along the river.

Participants must bring both their graduation gown and a valid driver’s license in order to float. All tubes must be returned to Texas Tubes following the event.
