Residents can gain a deeper understanding of New Braunfels’ water future during NBU’s Water Supply and Planning Demonstration on June 10 from 12:30 pm to 1:30 pm at Headwaters at the Comal. This interactive One Water session provides a behind-the-scenes look at the planning, infrastructure, and decision-making that help ensure a reliable water supply for the growing community.
Participants will take part in a hands-on activity that explores the challenges of balancing water supply, demand, population growth, and drought conditions. The session also offers insight into where the community’s water comes from, how it is managed, and why conservation continues to play an important role in long-term water planning. Visual demonstrations help make complex concepts accessible and easy to understand.
The program is designed for adults, although middle school-aged participants are welcome when accompanied by a supervising adult. The session will be held at Headwaters at the Comal, located at 333 E. Klingemann Street, New Braunfels, TX 78130.
Registration is required. For more information or to reserve a spot, visit https://www.tickettailor.com/events/headwaters/2141101. Additional sessions are scheduled for June 16 and August 11.
