An evening of stories and songs takes place at The Redbird Listening Room as Owen Temple performs on April 17, 2026, at 7:30 pm. The performance offers an intimate listening-room experience centered on thoughtful songwriting and storytelling.
Texas-born singer-songwriter Owen Temple is known for blending folk influences with honky-tonk roots, creating songs that explore the landscapes of small towns, family ties, and everyday moments. Since his breakout album General Store in the late 1990s, Temple has built a respected catalog that includes releases such as Dollars and Dimes and 2023’s Rings on a Tree. His latest project examines themes of generational connection and the legacies people carry forward, featuring collaborations with songwriters including Walt Wilkins, Kelley Mickwee, Hal Ketchum, and Gordy Quist.
Doors open 30 minutes prior to the show. Guests are welcome to bring their own beverages, with a $10 fee per group. The venue also offers Ramblers, sodas, coffee, and Redbird Charcuterie Plates from Huisache Grill.
