Passing Strangers at Bluebonnet Palace

Passing Strangers, the long-standing San Antonio-based band led by vocalist John Boyd, will bring their decades of experience and energetic live show to Bluebonnet Palace on Saturday, October 11, 2025, at 9 pm. Known for their electronic remake of Gary Wright’s 1975 hit “Dream Weaver,” which became a club hit and received airplay across the U.S. and Europe, the band has maintained a dynamic presence in the Texas music scene.

With more than thirty years of performances, five albums, and tours across the U.S. and overseas, Passing Strangers remain a fan favorite. After years in the Dallas and Boulder/Denver music scenes, Boyd returned to his roots in the San Antonio/Austin area in 2010. In 2013, he teamed up with guitarist Ray Tamez and producer Mattson Rainer to release his first solo album, Passing Strangers and Funny People.

General admission seating is first come, first served, and guests should expect a lively, standing-room-friendly atmosphere. Tickets can be purchased at the door on the day of the show. All sales are final, rain or shine. Attendees must be 21 or older with valid photo ID.
