PAWS to Read at New Braunfels Public Library

PAWS to Read offers a relaxed and encouraging reading experience where children can practice their reading skills by reading aloud to a certified therapy animal at the library. This supportive environment is designed to help build confidence, improve literacy skills, and make reading a fun and positive activity for young readers.
The program takes place from 4 pm to 5 pm on Friday, February 6, 2026, and Friday, March 6, 2026, in the Main Library Meeting Room at the New Braunfels Public Library. The event is open to all ages, with a focus on early childhood and early elementary readers.
This program is free to attend and provides a welcoming setting for children to enjoy reading at their own pace alongside friendly therapy animals.
