Paws to Read at New Braunfels Public Library

Young readers can strengthen their literacy skills in a calm, encouraging setting at Paws to Read. Children will have the opportunity to read aloud to certified therapy animals, helping to improve fluency, comprehension, and confidence. Each session features one to three therapy animal teams, with children typically spending about ten minutes reading to each furry listener.

Paws to Read takes place from 4:00 pm to 5:00 pm on select Fridays: September 5, October 3, November 7, and December 5, 2025, at the New Braunfels Public Library, 700 E Common St, New Braunfels, TX 78130.
