Pivo & Polka Band at Krause’s Cafe

Celebrate an evening of lively polka music as the Pivo & Polka Band performs at Krause’s Cafe on Wednesday, July 29, from 6 pm to 9 pm. Formed in 2019, this San Antonio and New Braunfels-based group brings together a love of traditional polka music, community, and good times.

The band’s name reflects its passion for two favorites—beer (“pivo” in Czech) and polka music. Made up of professional musicians who are also full-time music educators, the group has entertained audiences at churches, Christmas markets, farmers markets, restaurants, and community events throughout the region. Guests can expect an upbeat performance filled with traditional tunes, dancing, and the spirit of Gemütlichkeit.
