Preschool Storytime at New Braunfels Public Library

Preschool Storytime is designed for children ages 3 to 5 and focuses on building early literacy and reading readiness skills in a fun, engaging environment. Each session includes shared stories, songs, counting activities, and exploration of colors and shapes, followed by a creative art activity that reinforces the theme of the day. Siblings are welcome to attend, and caregivers are encouraged to actively participate alongside their children.

This recurring program takes place on Tuesdays from 9:30 am to 10:00 am on February 17 and 24; March 10, 17, 24, and 31; April 7, 14, 21, and 28; May 5, 12, 19, and 26; and June 2 and 9, 2026. All sessions are held in the Main Library Meeting Room at the New Braunfels Public Library, located at 700 E. Common St., New Braunfels, Texas.

To help ensure a positive experience for everyone, families are asked not to attend if a child has had a fever within the past 24 hours, is experiencing symptoms of illness, or has signs of a communicable condition. Arriving on time, remaining attentive during the program, and helping children follow basic library manners all contribute to a successful and enjoyable storytime for all participants.
