River Cleanup and Fun in the Sun at Hinman Island Park

A community-focused day of service and outdoor fun takes place at River Cleanup and Fun in the Sun in New Braunfels. The event will be held on April 18 from 11 am to 2 pm at Hinman Island Park, located on Hinman Island Dr, New Braunfels, TX 78130.

The first portion of the event will focus on a group cleanup along Hinman Island, giving volunteers the opportunity to help remove trash and make a positive impact on the local river environment. Following the cleanup, the afternoon transitions into family-friendly activities including water games, a water balloon toss, and a community swim in the Comal River.

All cleaning supplies, along with water, energy drinks, and snacks, will be provided for volunteers.
