San Antonio Dutchmen at Krause’s Cafe

Traditional polkas, waltzes, and South Texas dance music fill the Biergarten at Krause’s Cafe on Wednesday, February 18, from 6 pm to 9 pm. The San Antonio Dutchmen, also known as the San Antonio Combo or S.A. Country, are known for their wide-ranging repertoire and long-standing presence at dances, festivals, Oktoberfest celebrations, and Wurstfest throughout South Texas.
The band specializes in German and Czech-style polkas and waltzes, reflecting their deep heritage as descendants of German immigrants who settled in Texas in the 1800s. Along with traditional selections, their performances often include authentic country and western music, made possible by the group’s multi-instrumental talents and diverse arrangements.
This free live music performance takes place at Krause’s Cafe, located at 148 S. Castell Ave., New Braunfels, Texas, offering an evening of classic dance music paired with food, drinks, and Hill Country atmosphere.
