SchlitterCon XXII at Schlitterbahn New Braunfels

A full weekend of waterpark thrills, exclusive activities, and family fun returns to Schlitterbahn New Braunfels during SchlitterCon XXII on May 23 and 24. This year’s “Full Throttle” theme celebrates the unofficial start of summer with two days of special event access, meals, entertainment, exclusive ride times, and after-hours experiences at one of the country’s most well-known waterparks.

Highlights of the 2026 event include the debut of Wasserbahn Racers, a new three-lane mat racing slide built into the park’s hillside overlooking the Comal River. Designed in partnership with WhiteWater, the attraction features fast-paced racing, drops, and splashdown finishes while blending into the natural Hill Country surroundings. Additional 2026 park enhancements include updates to Blastenhoff Tower, Han’s Hideout, the Pirate Ship at Surfenburg, and several classic water attractions throughout the park.

The two-day event includes exclusive ride time sessions, themed dinners and breakfasts, competitions, after-hours parties, open bars, a swim-in movie, dessert parties, family activities, and special entertainment. Registration begins Saturday evening with additional activities continuing throughout Sunday night.
