Sideman Song Swap at The Redbird Listening Room

An evening of stories and live songwriting comes to The Redbird Listening Room on May 27 at 7:30 pm during Sideman Song Swap. The concert series, created by drummer and songwriter Michael Kelton, highlights musicians who have spent years touring and performing alongside well-known Texas and Americana artists while also pursuing their own songwriting careers.

The show features original songs, behind-the-scenes stories from life on the road, and performances from talented “sidemen” who have shared stages with artists including Pat Green, Wade Bowen, Hayes Carll, Zane Williams, and more. The intimate listening room setting offers guests a closer look at the musicians behind some of Texas music’s biggest acts.

Doors open 30 minutes before the show. Ramblers, sodas, coffee, and charcuterie plates will be available for purchase, and guests may bring their own beverages for a $10 group fee. Tickets are $20.
