Spring Playday Series 2026 at Comal County Sheriff’s Posse

A season of competitive and family-friendly equestrian events returns with the Comal County Sheriff Posse Spring Playday Series 2026. Held at 3826 Morningside Drive, New Braunfels, TX 78132, the series is scheduled for March 14, April 18, May 2, June 13, and July 11, with rain dates to be announced.
Each event day features a variety of competitions including Mystery, Pole Bending, Straight Away Barrels, and Cloverleaf Barrels. Books open at 3 pm and close at 4:30 pm, with the show beginning at 5 pm. Entry is $60 per participant with a $10 office charge. Riders are grouped by age as of January 1, including Pee Wee (7 and under, with a handler over 18), Intermediate (8–13), Juniors (14–18), Seniors (19–45), and Super Seniors (46 and over).
Participants must earn 10 work points and attend at least four of the five shows to qualify for series-end prizes. A negative Coggins test is required for all horses, with no exceptions.
