Friendship, laughter, and resilience take center stage this fall as Circle Arts Theatre presents Steel Magnolias by Robert Harling from October 2 through October 18. Set in Truvy’s lively Southern beauty salon, this beloved comedy-drama follows a close-knit group of women as they navigate life’s joys, challenges, and heartbreaks with humor, strength, and unwavering support for one another. Recommended for ages 12 and older, the production brings to life the memorable characters and heartfelt moments that have made Steel Magnolias a timeless favorite.
Performances will be held Fridays and Saturdays at 7:30 pm and Sundays at 2 pm at Circle Arts Theatre. Special events throughout the run include a Champagne Opening on October 2 featuring food, drinks, and a cast meet-and-greet after the performance. Benefit Night on October 3 will support the Hays County League of Women Voters, with all proceeds from that evening benefiting the local nonprofit organization. On October 10, Circle Arts Theatre will offer a Pay What You Can performance, with 30 tickets available at the door on a pay-what-you-can basis.
