Stoney LaRue at Gruene Hall

Red Dirt favorite Stoney LaRue returns to Gruene Hall on Friday, September 5, for an evening of electrifying country music and heartfelt storytelling. Known for his distinctive voice and emotionally charged performances, LaRue has long been a driving force in the Red Dirt and Texas Country music scenes. With a career spanning over two decades, he’s celebrated for albums like Velvet, Aviator, and Onward, which showcase his blend of raw emotion, thoughtful lyricism, and genre-crossing sound.

LaRue’s performance will follow opening sets by Hank Weaver at 8 pm, with LaRue taking the stage at 9:30 pm. Fans can expect a powerful mix of his classic hits like “Feet Don’t Touch the Ground” and “Oklahoma Breakdown,” along with newer material that continues to resonate with loyal followers across generations.
