Summer Cinema: High School Musical at The Brauntex Performing Arts Theatre

The Brauntex Performing Arts Theatre continues its Summer Cinema series on July 8 from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm with a screening of the Disney musical favorite High School Musical. Summer Cinema is sponsored by the Texas Commission on the Arts in partnership with Popbelly’s Popcorn.

The film follows high school basketball star Troy Bolton and academically gifted Gabriella Montez after the two discover a shared love for singing during a holiday karaoke party. Back at school, they audition for the school musical while balancing pressures from sports, academics, and classmates determined to keep them from changing the status quo.

High School Musical stars Zac Efron, Vanessa Hudgens, and Ashley Tisdale.
