Summer Cinema: Pitch Perfect at The Brauntex Performing Arts Theatre

The Brauntex Performing Arts Theatre continues its Summer Cinema series on June 17 from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm with a screening of the musical comedy Pitch Perfect. Summer Cinema is sponsored by the Texas Commission on the Arts in partnership with Popbelly’s Popcorn.

The film follows college freshman Beca as she unexpectedly becomes part of an all-female a cappella group filled with very different personalities but united by their love of music. As the group works toward competing in college singing competitions, Beca introduces fresh arrangements and modern mashups that challenge the traditional style of the team.

Pitch Perfect stars Anna Kendrick, Rebel Wilson, and Brittany Snow.

This film is rated PG-13.
