Taste of Texas Dinner at Krause’s Cafe

Krause’s Cafe hosts an elegant Taste of Texas Dinner on Monday, February 23, 2026, from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm, featuring a multi-course menu paired with select Texas wines from Llano Winery. This thoughtfully curated evening highlights seasonal ingredients, regional flavors, and live acoustic music by Jorge and Nicole, creating a relaxed yet refined dining experience centered on Texas hospitality.

The dinner includes a welcome bite of house-cured smoked duck with goat cheese, fig, arugula, and balsamic paired with Llano Chardonnay, followed by a winter quail salad with roasted squash, pepitas, baby kale, brown butter vinaigrette, and rosemary honey paired with Llano Viognier. The main courses continue with roasted Gulf redfish pozole paired with Llano Rosé and Texas Akaushi beef short rib with celery root purée and grapefruit sunflower seed gremolata paired with Llano Tempranillo. Dessert features prickly pear panna cotta with toasted pecans and local honey, paired with Llano Moscato.

Tickets are available at two price points and include gratuity. The Texas Wine Dinner with wine pairing is $108 per person, while the dinner without wine pairing is $84 per person. Seating is limited.
